about us
headline
Long before we opened our doors, people were calling Addo Novo a furniture boutique. Often they'd use variants of the word, such as boutique-y and 'tiquish. We're quite certain neither of those words exist.

Truth is, we don't consider ourselves a boutique. We believe the very word conjures up an air of stuffiness.

Rather, we like to think of Addo Novo as a design studio that offers inspired design for modern living. When you walk through our doors or when you visit us online, we hope you will see that we've assembled a collection of furniture and accents that complement each other. That's our concept.

And if you're wondering about our name: addo from Latin meaning to inspire; novo from Latin meaning to make new.

Addo Novo opened on April 21, 2007 near Monument Square in Downtown Portland.
