Cini Boeri

A graduate of the Politecnico of Milan, Boeri opened her own studio for civil architecture and industrial design in 1963. Her work was both conceptually and structurally experimental, often reflecting a pop aesthetic through her use of machine-made simplicity. Boeri played with the various uses of materials, incorporating formless foam pieces, bent glass, and polyurethane pieces into her designs. Her projects search for a deeper understanding of the function of the house, achieving a psychological relationship between person and habitat.
