Florence Knoll referred to her 1961 line of desks as the "meat and potatoes" needed to fill in gaps in the Knoll collection. Her spare, angular designs remain stunning examples of the modern aesthetic.
Tops available in a variety of finishes: laminate (white), veneer (natural oak, pearwood, medium brown mahogany, medium red mahogany or ebonized oak) coated marble; natural marble and granite. Post and four-star legs are available in either polished chrome or satin chrome. Adjustable steel glides are in chrome finish.
Laminate tops are 1.25" thick; veneer tops are 1.1875" thick; marble is 0.75" thick. Marble tops are coated with transparent polyester to help protect against use-associated stains.
