The Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman are instantly recognizable. The subject of documentaries and books, part of the permanent collections of major art museums, the lounge chair and ottoman provide both sophisticated style and luxurious comfort in your home. And now you can have them in a new finish and material option.

Like all classics, the chair and ottoman just get better with age. Both are hand-assembled with great attention paid to the details.

The first Eames lounge chair and ottoman was made as a gift for Billy Wilder, the director of "Some Like It Hot," "Irma La Douce," and "Sunset Blvd." The heritage of the chair goes back to the molded plywood chairs pioneered by the Eameses in the 1940s. Charles Eames said his goal for the chair was that it be "a special refuge from the strains of modern living."

The Eames® Lounge and Ottoman are made from 24 percent recycled content. At the end of their useful life, the chair and ottoman are 29 percent recyclable. The Eames® Lounge and Ottoman may also contribute to LEED points.
