Jeff Weber

Inspired by the human body and its ergonomic challenges, Jeff Weber knew since childhood that he would eventually become an industrial designer. Mentored by Bill Stumpf, Weber eventually joined Stumpf’s Minneapolis firm, now Stumpf, Weber + Associates. It also led to his collaboration with Herman Miller. Research is the most important part of Weber’s process– the creation of the Embody task chair for Herman Miller involved two years of research with experts in various fields of medicine, from specialists in upper-extremity conditions to optometrists and neurologists.
