Created by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for the German Pavilion at the 1929 Barcelona Exposition, the Barcelona stool features the pure compositional structure that epitomizes modern design. Available in stainless steel or chrome construction. A fully licensed classic from Knoll®.

Stainless steel frame welded in single piece construction for ultimate durability. Stainless steel and chrome frames are hand-buffed to a mirror finish. Individual leather panels are cut, hand-welted and hand-tufted. Panels and buttons are crafted from a single hide.

The KnollStudio logo and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's signature are stamped into the frame of each piece.
