Harry Bertoia's 1952 experiment bending metal rods into practical art produced a revered collection of seating, including this previously unreleased piece. Sculptural, airy, and breathtaking in shape and form, the Asymmetric chaise is considered to be a masterpiece of mid-century American furniture and can be specified unupholstered, with a seat cushion, or with a full cover.
Honorable Mention, Annual Design Awards, ID Magazine 2006
