Michele De Lucchi
b. 1951
Having trained as an architect, De Lucchi’s interests range from the conceptual aspects of design, technology, and craft. His aesthetic is stylistically versatile, ranging from sleek, minimalistic lighting systems to boldly colorful objects. Throughout his career, De Lucchi has played a role in the design movements Cavart, Alchymia, and Memphis. His prolific design portfolio has lead to collaborations with renowned manufacturers, ranging from Artemide, Dada Cucine, Kartell, Matsushita, Mauser, Poltrona Frau, and Olivetti.
