Rodolfo Dordoni

b. 1954

Trained as an architect, Dordoni graduated from the Milan Polytechnic in 1979. After a period of working in architecture– with clients such as Dolce & Gabbana, Panasonic, and Beierdorf– he redirected his focus to industrial objects and furniture. His design process remained rooted in the structural elegance of his architectural work. Dordoni has provided art direction for a variety of prominent Italian manufactures, including Artemide, Cappellini, Fontana Arte, Foscarini, Minotti, and Roda. His studio Dordoni Architetti, founded in association with architects Alessandro Acerbi and Luca Zaniboni, handles international projects in architectural planning and interior design.
