An extension of the Aluminum Group chairs designed in 1958 for the Irwin Miller home, the Soft Pad Group repeats the structure of the earlier chairs, adding cushions to the seat and back. Covered in leather or fabric, these cushions transformed the spare character of the Aluminum Group into a luxurious version for homes and offices.

Features a five-star polished die-cast aluminum base and frame with tubular steel column and 2" hard double-wheel casters. Tilt-swivel mechanism and seat-height adjustment.

The Eames® Soft Pad Group Lounge is available in several textiles, including COM. For fabric options other than leather, please call 1-888-276-1994.

The Eames® Soft Pad Group is GreenGuard® Certified and is made from 57 percent recycled content. At the end of its useful life, the seating is 90 percent recyclable. Soft Pad Group seating may also contribute to LEED points.
